Your data stays yours.
Every file you share carries a second payload you never chose to send: where the photo was taken, what camera and software touched it, who the document's author is, how many times it was revised. Scrubber shows you that payload, removes it, and proves it's gone — without ever uploading your file.
Surgical, not lossy.
Your image's pixels come out byte-identical. We parse the container and remove only the metadata segments — never re-drawing the image onto a canvas, never re-compressing your photo, and we keep the ICC color profile intact.
Proof, not promises.
After stripping, we re-scan the cleaned bytes and show you the result. Zero fields remaining gets a green check. If a field genuinely can't be removed, we mark it amber and tell you why — never a false green.
Nothing leaves the page.
No backend, no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry. Every byte is processed in your browser. It works offline.
“Open your browser's network tab while you use it — you'll see nothing go out. That's the whole point.”
